Clodagh Chapman

Clodagh Chapman is an artist working primarily in writing, directing and dramaturgy. At the age of 18, she became one of the youngest ever creatives to have work nominated for an Off West End Award.

More recently, she won the Bristol Outstanding Award (Bristol Futures) for theatre direction and facilitation.

Her most recent project was butterfly (VAULT Festival), dubbed “a brilliant show full of heart – it’s history that is far from dull and has been smacked through a queer kaleidoscope of charm, dark humour and vibrancy” (The Guardian).

Having previously trained on the Tobacco Factory Writer’s Scheme, Clodagh is currently a Young Artist at the Almeida Theatre and completing her MA at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
